Singer Tank shared some not so fortunate news with all of his supporters on social media. The artist, whose real name is Durrell Babbs, told fans that he is sadly going deaf so he took to his platform to open up about it in order to help others out there going through a similar situation.
In a video he posted on Instagram, the celeb stated: ‘So I am going through something and I want to use my situation to encourage your own situation. I am going completely deaf in my right ear and I am kind of losing sound in my left. I am dizzy, cannot walk in a straight line. All of this just out of nowhere. Do not know how or why. I am seeing a doctor, I got MRI’s going on and medication and, you know, all of that. But, it still has not given me a reason to give up.’
He expressed a lot of positivity in his message, making it very clear that no matter what happens, he will continue to reach out to all of his goals like always.
Tank is not giving up and he used this opportunity to encourage his fans to do the same no matter their own personal situations.
‘It still has not given me a reason to stop feeling like I can do and be everything I’ve set out to be. The goals are still the same: be great, be the greatest. I want to say that to you as well. No matter what you may be going through, no matter where you find yourself. Whether your body’s failing you, whether your mind’s failing you, whether your spirit is failing you: just keep going, keep pushing.’

Not only that but Tank also mentioned that he would be documenting the whole medical process so that others out there can witness his fight.

Aside from the many positive and encouraging messages from fans in the comment section, his wife, Zena Foster, also sweetly joked that: ‘I love you babe and don’t worry I can talk louder.’
