Yesterday, when I was covering the fashion for the Met Gala, I noted that both Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow were wearing Stella McCartney dresses. I actually like Madge’s dress more – I thought it suited her, it softened her, it was flattering and a lovely color for her. I disliked Gwyneth’s dress because it looked like dated, budget Michael Kors. I also noted that considering Gwyneth and Madonna are no longer BFFs, the fact that they both showed up in Stella gowns probably caused some controversy.
