Taylor Swift has proven to be a guaranteed hit wherever she goes, and not only is she able to fill venues and stadiums during her concerts, but also at sporting events.

Ever since she's been going to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce at his Kansas City Chiefs games, more fans have been interested in attending the games live than before.

Meanwhile, on Friday morning, rumors surfaced that the 'Shake It Off' singer is reportedly set to buy English League Two club Notts County.

Reports in the Weekend Sport newspaper indicated that the singer was in the process of "pulling out all the stops" to buy the club.

Owners deny club sale with reference to Taylor Swift songs

However, the Nottingham Post reports that Notts County's owners, brothers Chris and Alex Reedtz, have put an end to rumors that the club is being sold to Taylor Swift.

The pair released a pun-filled statement referring to the Pennsylvania singer's music on Twitter.

In their post the brothers did not deny Swift's interest in acquiring Notts County, but said they would not sell at "such an exciting time for the club". They also said that, in honor of the history, the club would play a song from the album "1989" before the start of the club's home game tomorrow against Ryan Reynolds' Wrexham.

"As sorry as we are to disappoint the Swifties in our fanbase, we're going to have to shake this story off. There's certainly no bad blood between ourselves and Taylor but, at such an exciting time for us and the club, she surely couldn't have believed in her wildest dreams that we would relinquish our control," the statement read.

"We'll leave a blank space in tomorrow's pre-match playlist for a track from her newly re-released 1989 album as a gesture of gratitude for her interest."

So Taylor Swift will have to wait or look for another club, to join actor Ryan Reynolds, as the owner of an English League Two football team.
