Are Brad Pitt and Alia Shawkat engaged? That’s the question many people are asking due to an article in the upcoming July 20, 2020, issue of In Touch magazine. Brad has been linked to several women since his split from long-time partner and ex Angelina Jolie. Many believed that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston rekindled their love for one another after the two were seen sharing an embrace at the 2020 SAG Awards. Rumors surrounded the couple since that public sighting and many believed the couple were dating, engaged, pregnant, adopting a baby, and even spending the Coronavirus lockdown together. Now, there are new reports saying that Brad and Angelina are finally co-parenting and in a happy place and some are crediting Alia Shawkat for the change, not Jennifer Aniston.
There will always be Brennifer purists who want to see them back together, but that doesn’t look like it is going to happen. Brad and Jennifer are good friends and he has attended her holiday and birthday parties, but it doesn’t look like there is going to be anything else happening there and some are blaming Alia Shawkat for the sudden distance.
Brad and Alia have become very close and though they have a noticeable age gap (he’s 56, she’s 31) they have a great deal in common and enjoy many cultural events and activities together. While many people thought Jennifer Aniston was living with Brad during the lockdown (one report suggested he kicked her out of the house) but now some are saying that it is Alia who was actually staying with him in his home.

Alia has publicly denied dating Brad Pitt and says the two are just friends but many aren’t buying it. Now, In Touch’s report has many convinced the two are more than friends. A source stated the following.
“One day, during a hike in Malibu, Brad spontaneously got down on one knee and asked Alia to marry him. He didn’t even have a ring yet. Alia said yes, of course. She was ecstatic.”
Neither Brad Pitt or Alia Shawkat have responded to claims they are engaged.
